A beautiful little tuberous Gymnocalycium from the Cordoba region of Argentina. The epidermis is a curious cloudy grey-brown colour, and the adpressed spines are pinkish. Flower buds are particularly striking, and the flower is white with a pink flushed throat.
One of the super-hardy species that has contractile roots, effectively pulling it down to the surface of the substrate during times of severe drought.
Offered in two sizes, large plants circa 5.5-6cm across, and smaller plants at around 4cm across.
