A really special plant, quite unique in appearance. In my experience slower than many Frailea, but a plant than generally remains small anyway. These plants have produced flowers for a few years now, but generally they only open at 35c+. Since flowers are cleistogamous and self-fertile, many come with free seed pods attached!
