A classic cactus, one of the very first I ever owned! Vicious spines on a attractive green body, eventually forms a clump of stems bearing shocking red flowers. If kept dry is exceptionally cold hardy, some plants able to tolerate -20c and lower! So a good one if you overwinter in an unheated situation.
